I ave been really busy theses days. Sorry about not being able to post anything. Physics Expo is really stressing me out and so does the Brit Lit paper. I am doing the Pendulum Experiment for physics. I am so thankful that I chose myself an easy topic. Abby is doing camera which would be so hard and I cannot imagine how she could do it. So do Jenny, Lauren, Thomas, Andi, Val and Megan. They must be working really hard. I do not really know if my easy Pendulum will give me a good grades and I hope it would since the grade of the paper which will be due next Friday will occupy the majority part of my final grades. By the way, the Irish sports team are doing really well this season although I have not been to a football game or a basketball game for a long time. Not only did the volleyball team win the state championship, but also the girl Irish basketball team is approaching their city champion. The football team won the city championship in the fall as the 3rd straight year.

 

We were doing really well in chess playoff 1st round yesterday as we beat Sylvania Southview away with 3.5 : 0.5. Everyone but Greg won while Greg drew. At the same time Perrysberg beat Waite at home and St Francis beat Sylvania Northview at home. St John's got a bye.

 

Physics test will be on Friday and so does the Spanish test. I am now having a B in Spanish because I really do not have the time to work on Spanish these days. I will catch up with A after all these crabs are settled.

 

Another annoying thing is that I am supposed to figure out what classes to take next year. I have to leave it undecided. I do not know how many HONORS do i NEED NEXT YEAR. I might take Religous 4 Honors as well as AP Gorvernment. I would probably take the Senior English CP with Hartford instead of the hardest AP English and Literature. I do not want to take the AP because Hartford is really a nice teacher and she would give me a really good recommandation. Also I do not think that I could handle so many AP courses that include a lot of extra reading.  Meanwhile I would take Computer science Honors as a continue study of my current Programming. Then I am thinking of taking Calculus 2 and Physics Mechanics at UT. The final course is undecided. I could take Honors Spanish 2 if I have to have it as my 3rd year foreign language to graduate with Honors diploma, or I could take Art fundamentals if I need the art credit, or I could take another college course at UT or I might take AP Psychology or I might take a study hall. That is about it and I would need a $200 fee to choose my class. There might be extra for college courses and there will be fine of $25 if I make late decision. But it is obvious that there is no way that I could not be fined because I could never possibly get it done by the deadline.

My Science paper is really freaking me out right now. It would take the majority of my time from now till Februry 8th when it is due. I have to do lots of research and read lots of reference books. The English Author paper is also tough. I am working on J.R.R Tolkien with his novel "The Hobbit". Tolkien is extremely famous for his "Lord of Rings" series.I am working on my 35 note cards.

 

I am choosing my classes for next year. I still am not sure about the process but I would choose harder courses and I would definitely take at least 2 courses at UT. 

 

I will be going to Chicago as well as Milwaukee from Feb 1st to Feb 3rd which I was told just now. I am very willing to watch the Houston-Milwaukee NBA game at Bucks on the 2nd. I understand that Phil and bought the tickets for me.

I am dealing with too much paper and tests these days. I would like to talk about Beach Tournament the individual chess tournament. The tournament lasted for 2 days while Greg Ryan Dan and I took part. Our team ended up 3rd while Ryan Clayton won the Beach Tournament with 6-0 records. He beat Andrew Ding, Albert Maginley as well as a lot of good players. I ended up 3.5-2.5 with 4 games against 1400s players. The first day I won the first game over a girl easily and I played Andrew one of the  best players in the league who won the Beach Tournament last year. Andrew drew Ryan last year in the final and won the tournament by computed small points. I lost to Ding while I would put him into checkmate 1 move after he put me into checkmate. I was on black which was a disadvantage. I won over Michael from Maumee Valley as my third game.

 

On Sunday, at first, I beat a 1400s guy Mauhamed (like a Mideast name) from Waite on one of my best game. Then I lost to a tall guy from St.Francis called Richard. I hate sicilian which Richard played against me. The last game I drew to Ryan Rafftery from St. Francis. I was up by a pawn but since I had a basketball game after chess, I coulod not finish the game with an advantage anymore and we agreed with a draw. Later on, without Mike Walsh and Coach Walsh who were away in Arizona, The team with only Tony, Steve, Gim, Ben, Kevin and I lost to St Joseph in an important CYO game.

 

By the way, I got another 2 hours of CIA again in Grieger's Math Lab today. I am so proud of myself.

Hi,

 

I am just fine these days. I am accepted to CCHS next year and about to get I20. I have been trying to get to the college program and ACT preparation courses.

 

During the weekend I will be dong the most important chess tournament, The Beach Tournament, at Maumee Valley Country Day School. We are lucky to take the following Monday off or I will be too tired to go to school. Otherwise I would need another excused day off.  Actually Erica took a day off due to her friends’ funeral today. She was dress in black for that reason. I started some CIA (Christian In Action) hours Wednesday with Erin Grieger’s math lab. I got first 2 hours of my 20 that day. Also I have been selling candies for fundraising for my Science Olympiad Club. The club will have the major competitions in March in Lima, OH and Cleveland, OH.

 

One thing that is quite pitiful is that I missed the chance to go to Washington D.C with the school for the Martin Luther King’s Day march. On next Monday, half a million people will be at the march which is basically against abortion. Because of this we had a mass today at CCHS to memorize unborn heroes which I did not appreciate it. Sounds stupid, doesn’t it? But I would be so happy if I could be in Washington with my friends.

 

Yeah, my basketball was doing great. I got to play a lot of games this week. I had 2 games last weekend and we won both. We also had a game on Wednesday but we lost it also I did a pretty good job. I am doing better and better by time.

 

My driving was doing just great. Phil was even talking about one of his car dealer and mechanic friend whom, as Phil said, I could get a descent and cheap vehicle from. I would be taking driving courses during Easter Break for sure.

Everything is great!  I do not really miss anything, surprised. I just got 2 papers  to do this sems.  I completely forgot to see Miss Florence for Science Olympiad today and I went to shamrock shop instead which sounds stupid. The weather is brilliant. I have the same classes as last semester with a new begin. I have new seats, a corner seat for religous, middle seat for maths, and side seat for HIS. I do not know about the others yet. I gotta a basketball game to play today at OLPH and Sat at Macombev Sun at chris th king. I got the beach tournament on 18th and 19th. Very very busy. there.. ok,
