God bless me have a safe trip

Hi,

I am taking off today!!!!! Excited! I packed up my stuff and surprisingly there aren't that many of them. I have a couple of friends come in yesterday. I visited Point Place for my last road trip. It was a gorgeous place. I ran into a huge storm today and it scared Alice to death. God bless me have a safe trip and a fantastic summer.

Goodbye Party

Hi,

This is obviously not a good day for journals, but i will do it anyway. I checked out the test sites today and I filled up the tank at bp. There are a lot to do after the test before I leave on Monday. I will have a small party on Sunday when friends are coming to say goodbye. If anybody want me to bring something, just feel free to ask. I LOVE my license. Probably the thing I am going to miss most during the coming 3 months is it.

Test week

Hi,

Carol is now in Mexico. Phil just came back from Lansing and I am having a busy week due to the two tests over the weekend before I leave. I easily got through MVCDS's admission today after calling Vicki and giving her all the recs, applics and fees. I got one of my recs from Grieger and the other recommendation was an old one from Liu Jingjun. I forged his signature though. I will definitely get the I-20 form from MVCDS on Friday and all rest of the stuff. Brief schedule below:
MVCDS starts school on Aug 20.
Winterim Nov 3-24.
Thanksgiving Break Nov 26-28
Xas Break Dec 22- Jan 2
Spring Break Mar 23-April 3
June 12 Graduation

That's all I have now. It takes 20 minutes to drive to MVCDS by 3 different routes. Three route share the same travelling time while they have different lengths. I could take Interstate 475 for 16 miles in 20 minutes, or Anthony Wayne trail for 10 miles, or Detroit Ave for 9 miles.

Apologies for not being here very often since I am really busy with the stupid tests. Anyway, I will be back home in a couple of days.

btw, I have been planning on going to Natasha Bedingfield's concert since about a month ago but it seems absurd and very unrealistic now. It in Detroit today and I don't have time to see it anymore. The Verizon Tour has always been one of the tours on my list. Hopefully I will get a chance next time if there is one.

SJJ

Hi,

I finished American History exam today and I went to an appointment with SJJ this afternoon. One mile apart from Maumee Valley, St John's Jesuit is an all-boy Catholic HS. It is a larger school than MVCDS. They offer excellent courses and college counselings. I met with Brad and Sheryl and talked about the possibility and schedule. Its neat and I will definitely appreciate it to go there instead of CCHS. Since CCHS and SJJ are biggest rivals, so I will probably have a hard time at school though. Anyway, I will work on it. The decision will be made hopefully next week after I have a chance to join MVCDS with a regular school day. Two more exams to go and I will soon be done with school.

In the Finals

Hi,

Today is the first day of the finals and I did pretty well on religion. Hopefully, that will be the last religious thing I'll ever touch in my life. I had a wonderful visit to MVCDS although I have been there for a couple of times already. It looks like that if I say yes they will take me. To be frank, I haven't decided it yet cause I am a little bit more interested in SJJ for which the interview is tomorrow. It finally will come down to what class I want to take, if I want to have dress code and mass. Even though I might get to transfer, I will still be a loyal Irish for Central cause the spirit of Central is what impresses me most. Besides that Central has the best stadium and gym in the city. As soon as I decide which would be early next week, I would need to sit down to talk to either school for my I-20 which will turn out to be the biggest concern.

MVCDS

Hi,

There remains the possiblity that I am transferring to MVCDS or SJJ for senior year. I have made appointments with the directors of both schools tomorrow and Thursday at 2 pm. The major concern is on the I-20 very likely but I would assume that the schools can manage it. Maumee Valley Country Day School would charge me $15k and St. John's Jeisuit $10k for the transferring. I don't care where I am going to be end up being. Finals start tomorrow and hopefully they won't be too hard. Religion is tomorrow which will be the hardest among all I take.

Go Pistons!

Prince Caspian

Hi,

Two of the hottest movies recently are Indiana Jones and Chronicle of Narnia. Indiana Jones is an excellent movie, but it is not one of my favorites. It is just too old fashioned and I heard that the new one is about aliens which don't interest me much either. On the other side, Prince Caspian is the movie I really want to see after watching the Lion, the White Witch and the Wardrobe in my recent class. It seems that everybody loves Lucy when Lucy becomes a minor in the second film. Edmund really grows up and Peter is the hero. I don't like the prince in the new movie, but I love the ending song the call from Regina Specktor.

soBellefontaine

Hi,

I am back early from camping. Actually I got home at 9 am yesterday from Bellefontaine. It was not at all a pleasant trip. I left home Friday afternoon at 4 all packed and all excited. I mapquested it before I left since I was going by myself and the estimated time was approximately 2 hours. Of course I got lost in finding this remote place. I was taking US-68 all the way down south but there was just no way in hell I can find this County Road 155, so I went direct to take the OH-273, which led me to a wrong direction. Luckily, I stopped by a golf club and got to ask a nice lady and she showed me exactly how I could get to the camp. I did it though one and a half hours late than I had anticipated.

I was disappointed once again when I found out that there was absolutely nothing at the camp. No water, no power supply, no internet and no T-mobile signal for my cell. I got really mad, and was planning on going back but it was too late to drive home so I decided to spend the night and leave the next morning and I did. SOBellefontaine!

Tomorrow is memorial day which is to remember war dead and veterans so I will get a day off and there was a pretty fun picnic last Friday at school.

Camping

Hi,

I am going camping tomorrow and I will be back on Monday. I acknowledged a letter just while ago informing that I got the chance to go camping with friends. The camping place is in Bellefontaine, Ohio and is organized by a Catholic community. Jin was the one that was going originally, but he's got to somewhere else. The major part of it is that I will get to play b-ball there. The place I am going to will give me room to study for finals next week and SATs. It will be pretty relaxing. I am getting rides from an organizer(adult), and Phil has the address and contact phone number so it is nothing to worry about. I'll take pc with me so everything will be cool! Time to pack up and I will see you there!

Room clean-up

Hi,

Tomorrow is senior's graduation ceremony and tonight there is a mass at the Cathedral. Phil is at the ceremony right now. Senior's gone results in the vacancy of the whole first floor and two of my classes. Now I am the only student for Petro and Grieger, so I help them do some room clean-up. Petro has a huge room with tons of closets and lots of them are still undiscovered. There are a lot of interesting things which are left from the last teacher inside the closets. I found large discharge spheres, ancient model ampmeters, wheels, all kinds of tubes, power supplies and all kinds of other cool stuffs. Petro is now working on the list and labels before he can put them away. Besides the two free periods, some other classes are also relaxing. We are watching Narnia in 1st period. There is going to be a brand new Indiana Jones movie coming out and everyone seems to be excited (me excluded). Since it is great weather to play B-Ball, I bought myself an amazing basketball(Lebron) for $30 from Dick's.

Goodbye Seniors

Hi,

This was a tough week for me as I was saying good bye to my Senior friends cause it was their last week of school and today was their date of final exam. Most seniors begin their summer from next week. As far as I know, a lot of them are going to work. What a year and there will be less than three weeks that I will be going home. My schedule is finally settled as I am taking Religion, AP English language, AP Gorvernment, AP Psycology, Speech and Debate with 2 free periods goint to college.

Roller Coasts

Mavericks, Top Thrill Dragster, Mantis, Millennium Force, Rapter, Wicker Twister

Cedar Point

Hi,

There it comes the trip to Cedar Point, the World's largest roller coaster theme park located in Sandusky, Ohio, half way from Cleveland to Toledo. Cedar Point which is an island in Lake Eire features the most recognizable Millennium Force, the second fastest and also second highest in the world Top Thrill Dragster, the best inverted Raptor, the best stand-up Mantis, the best swing Sky-hawks and the extreme supreme Wicked Twister. I took most of the rides. Since we were going with the school, I joined a small group navigated by Luke Hoffman who is the superfella of the senior class and also my next door neighbor. Four kids out of all seven were freaking out of the rides so basically it was Luke, Aleesha and me trying out rides. It was freaking cold yesterday with a temperature of 45 degrees and everyone was freezing to death in the park. The best ever roller coaster I rode yesterday, though I am not a crazy roller coaser fan, was the Millennium Force. It is not hard to imagine after the ride why it is ranked the best roller coaster in the world. There comes some pictures of the roller coast at Cedar Point.

Cleveland Cavaliers Playoff!!!

Hi,

It was my first experience of NBA playoff games. The game was crazy but awesome. I went to the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, the home court of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Downtown Cleveland was extremely crouded yesterday since two major sports events were taking place at the same time while the Cleveland Indians were playing in the Progressive Field which located right next to the Q. The game was a landslide victory for the Cavs and they defeated the Celtices 108-84. There were a couple of pics taken, but I still cannot put it on yet.

Go Cavs!

Oklahoma

Hi,

There is going to be the musical Oklahoma tomorrow at Valentine Theatre and I am probably going to see it since Abby and Jenny have asked me a lot of times. Phil bought me a club seat ticket of the Cleveland Cavalier's Playoff game against the Boston Celtic Saturday night as a birthday present, which means I will take a night off again from SAT and go to Cleveland. It is not going to take long though and I will definitely have a lot of fun. I just received my I-20 from the principal today and recommendation letter from Grieger, so everything goes fine. AP test was yesterday and it was extrmemely easy as I have anticipated. There will be my final religious quiz tomorrow before the final exam, and i have to study for it tonight.

Go Cavs!

Happy B-DAY!

Hi,

Long Time No See... I has been my B-day already. I went to the Iron Man today. There will probably be a small party at my house tomorrow. Cant believe I am 17 already. Anyway, i got to perish my life. I finally got the license before turning 17 and I did my first solo yesterday. Make a small wish here, safe driving this year and for the rest of my life. Did I not promise to talk about my license test? That was a busy day. I finished the whole process 10 minutes before the license office people leaved their work. Everything went just so smoothly and as soon as I got home, Ryan showed up and I went, for the first time, to the state capital, Columbus OH. Danni Clayton, Ryan's dad, was driving us all the way. I stayed in the big house of Joanie's who is Danni's girlfriend. Joanie and Danni are both very nice people. Joanie's kids Katelyn and the dude, sorry i temporarily can't think of his name, are extremely nice. Joanie has a huge house out in the beautiful countryside of Midwestern United States with a lake for fishing and a huge grassland for golfing. It was 40 minutes from downtown Columbus though which was a nice town. Columbus is where the biggest university in the world , the Ohio State University,is located. There were a lot going on in school these days which includes AP tests tomorrow and a series of terrible tests for me today. I especially hate the Pygmalion exam today. I studied for it the entire week and I still did not get a clue on the test.

Lets go Cavs!

Mars Mission

Hi,

I had a great field trip today to the challenge learning center in Oregon (a suburb of Toledo) where we practiced the whole process of going to the "Mars". Each every 50 of us was given a particular job to achieve the mission. I was basically in charge of Data collection at variety of stations. Adam, Rachel and Michelle were my major partners who were in charge of different data groups and communiation. We succeeded, of course, and had a lot of fun at the same time. Surprisingly, it is the Seniors last in dress code day and they are graduating in less than 10 days. There will be my driving test tomorrow that I have been looking forward to since a year ago and I am a little bit nervous. Good luck Bill!

State Farm

Hi,

Insurance is absolutely a pain in the rear for drivers, and teens in order to drive need to pay extra amount adding on to the original price. The Extra is about $60 a month. I can get a short-term (6 weeks) state farm insurance right after my license is issued that will fully guarantee my right to drive anytime I want. I rent a King Claudius costume at a costume shop today for costume banquet on Wednesday, that will be a lot of fun. Unfornately I witnessed two car crashes today which happened to be my first time ever. Nobody got hurt luckily, but accidents are not pleasant at all. Gas price skyscraped over the month. Although the gas price never stay stable, it has never gone that high before. Gas price was always around $2.60 to $3.10 per galloon. The price now is around $3.50 to $3.90. This is a considerable difference. By the way, I really look forward to my field trip on Thursday which will be a lot of fun.

All School Retreat

Hi,

Such a long day! I'm really sick of this retreat. I suppose that a third of the students did not even show up today. The retreat includes a mass, 4 guest-speakers and takes a whole day long. Thanks God that I am out of it now. I understand the third of the students who were absent today, but unfortunately thet would probably got cited. Oh well, have fun for weekends!

Bittersweet World

Hi,

There really aren't many new albums these days that I actually look forward to, until Ashlee Simpson's Bittersweet World was released yesterday. It is a rather descent album though not being comparable to her first two albums. Little Miss Obsessive might be the best in this album. I love her previous L.O.V.E, La La, Come Back For More. Mariah's E=MC2 came a week before. Bye Bye is a great song in her new album. By the way, AI is extremely popular these days. I don't have any interest to watch it since my favorite in this season, Kristy Lee Cook was eliminated.
